Jacques’s 650b Randonneuse
Jacques wanted for a long time to find a 650b classic randonneuse such as the one that got stolen from him a few years ago. The idea of making a classic randonneuse immediately enthused me and after discussion we agreed on the details of the project.
This lightweight 650b randonneuse is certainly classic in style while integrating technically elements of modernity in particular through the use of Reynolds 853 tubes, some of which in ProTeam version and the installation of disc brakes whose postmount (PM) type supports allow the installation of the calipers without the need to have adapters.
The construction is executed by silver brazing the lugs. The head tube and set tube lugs are hand polished stainless steel.
The metallic basalt gray paint combined with the stainless steel lugs or polished aluminum are a real aesthetics success, what do you think?
